Marie Seidler, Mezzospran

Marie Seidler is a German mezzo-soprano. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she graduated with distinction. She completed her concert exam at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main with Hedwig Fassbender. Marie Seidler is a prizewinner of the International Competition for Lied Art of the Hugo Wolf Academy Stuttgart and winner of the Trude-Eipperle-Rieger Prize. In 2018 she was nominated by Opernwelt as Young Artist of the Year. Since then she has appeared in many opera roles, on the concert platform and as a lieder singer.

Celebrated by the New York Times as a "superlative accompanist", the Brazilian pianist Marcelo Amaral has established himself as a sought-after piano partner for singers and instrumentalists. He studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music and at Indiana University and completed his studies by working with artists such as Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Andras Schiff, Peter Schreier and many others. Since winning the pianist prize at the International Robert Schumann Lied Competition in 2009, he has worked with many renowned artists such as Manuel Fischer-Dieskau, Nils Mönkemeyer, Christoph Pregardien, Roman Trekel and the Alfama Quartet. With great success Marcelo Amaral made his debut at the Wigmore Hall in London, at the Musée d`Orsay in Paris and was a guest at numerous festivals.
